My career has spanned some of the most competitive corners of business. I led financial planning & analysis for United Airlines' Digital Technology group, managing a $3.2B portfolio; advised on data, analytics, AI, and machine learning searches at Heidrick & Struggles; worked in investment banking and capital markets at Auctus Capital Partners; and built private equity strategic partnerships at Codal. I also serve on the nonprofit side with the Health Foundation of Cook County.
Across all of it, I have spent years helping students and professionals sharpen their resumes, applications, and next moves — learning exactly what makes an application stand out in rooms where the bar is highest.
GetzIn grew out of that work, and out of getting my own younger brother into a row of top engineering programs. I built it to give ambitious students the same edge: sharp strategy, essays that sound like them, and a real hunt for the scholarship money that makes a great school affordable.
